How the Protection Works?

Normal Operation: Power feeds smoothly through the heavy-duty solid-state gate. The Blue LED shines bright to confirm the load is receiving clean voltage, and the aluminum heatsink keeps operating temperatures remarkably low.
Fault Event: A sudden dead short occurs downstream on your output line (CN2 or OUTPUT).
Instant Shutdown: The control logic (Q5 OR Q1) senses the massive voltage drop and clamps the main power gate shut in a fraction of a millisecond.
Latching Lockdown: The output instantly drops to 0V, saving your battery pack from overheating or fire hazards. The circuit remains safely locked out until the physical short circuit is safely removed and the module is power-cycled.
